About two-thirds of all U.S. military veterans are senior citizens who have served in armed conflicts going back to WWII. Veterans and their partners sixty-five or older may be eligible for benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) provides veterans and their spouses with benefits that can be put towards the cost of care, including care at home. An application must be submitted to the VA to get these benefits. If you do receive VA benefits, they can pay for the veteran home care services offered by Assisting Hands Home Care.
Assisting Hands Home Care provides non-medical home health care for veterans and their spouses who are eligible for VA benefits in Burleson, TX, and the surrounding areas. Veterans will receive excellent-high value in-home care from licensed caregivers who will take the time to learn about their needs and care for them with compassion and a respectful manner. We will work with veterans and their families to assess your care needs and determine how your VA benefits can cover the expense of home care.
VA Health Care Services
FREE home care services can be provided through the Home Health Aid (HHA) VA program for eligible veterans. Veterans can get the care they need without having to move to a facility.
Services are based on your assessed needs. To qualify, Veterans must get a referral for services from their VA doctor at their local VA clinic.
