Meet the Team

AHHC Seacoast NH’s Lee Baxter

Lee Baxter, a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and the owner of Assisting Hands Seacoast NH, brings a unique blend of military discipline, business acumen, and heartfelt compassion to the world of home care.

A US Navy veteran, Lee served as a Navy pilot before transitioning into the corporate arena. Armed with an MBA and over two decades of leadership experience spanning product development, marketing, and business development, Lee has honed his skills in navigating the complexities of the corporate world.

Motivated by personal experience, Lee embarked on a new mission – opening Assisting Hands – after witnessing the pressing need for high-quality at-home care for his own mother and his father-in-law. His firsthand understanding of the challenges families encounter while striving to create a safe and supportive environment for their loved ones is the driving force behind Assisting Hands’ commitment to excellence.

At Assisting Hands, Lee and his dedicated team are on a mission to provide comprehensive service and care solutions for individuals in need. The agency’s core philosophy revolves around enabling loved ones to age in place, allowing them to embrace life with dignity and independence. Every member of the Assisting Hands team is fueled by a genuine passion for ensuring that clients receive not just care, but a level of support that goes above and beyond expectations by treating every client as an extension of their own family.

Trish Bourque, Director of Client Services

Trish Bourque, a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) has over 10 years of experience working with seniors in New Hampshire and surrounding areas, from providing direct care support to roles in administration. Trish currently serves as the Director of Client Services with Assisting Hands, overseeing the care coordination for our clients and assuring that our quality standards are maintained at a high-functioning level. Her passion for keeping seniors independent and safe at home is evident through her proactive approach to staying abreast of best practices and developing specialized knowledge to better serve our clients with dementia by becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Trish has experience in providing support to seniors across various settings, including their homes, community day programs, and assisted and independent living facilities, underscoring her versatility and adaptability to meet our client’s diverse needs. Her desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those she assists aligns with her belief that caregiving can indeed be taught, but it must be driven by a personal motivation rooted in empathy and a genuine concern for the well-being of others.

She and her husband were born and raised in Manchester, NH and now live in Seacoast NH with their son, 2 dogs and 4 chickens.
