Hello, I’m Paula Lord. I am the Managing Director and Co-owner of Assisting Hands Spring Hill, serving Hernando & Citrus counties in Florida.
I was born in Northern Ontario Canada and grew up near Niagara Falls. I learned from an early age about hard work and independence, having worked while putting myself through 6 years of post secondary education. I first earned a Business Administration Marketing Diploma followed by an Honors Degree in Business and Economics from Brock University.
I spent over 20 years as a District Manager in both the retail and financial sectors. What I loved most about those years wasn’t the numbers – it was the people. Leading teams and supporting clients became the foundation of my career.
Eventually, I felt called to do something more personal. I moved to Florida to pursue my dream of running a business that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. My husband Richard and I share a deep love and respect for seniors and veterans, and that shared passion is at the heart of everything we do.
I’m also the proud mother of my beautiful daughter Alexandra, an RN whose hard work, compassion, strength and dedication inspire me every single day.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me boating on the gulf or spending time with family and friends.
Above all, I’m committed to making sure every client feels supported and cared for with compassion and dignity.
