France Barral is the agency director and owner. She comes with a couple decades of experience in leadership, project management, finance, and accounting, all in mission-driven companies. In her free time, France also has dedicated herself to serving others by contributing countless volunteer hours to her community over the years. Most notably, she has served Utah PTA in various capacities, at the local, regional level and at the state board and she also served on her city community council.
France founded Assisting Hands Greater Murray with the vision to continue to make a difference by caring for seniors and giving them a chance to live healthy happy lives in the comfort of their home.
Elise Adams is our hiring manager. Transitioning from hospitality to home care, Elise carries a fresh perspective and passion for employee appreciation. In prior positions, she held a high standard for recruiting top candidates, improving training materials and delivery, while focusing on employee retention. Elise’s dedication to and success in increasing client satisfaction enabled her to advance into upper management. Elise prides herself on taking care of her employees so that they can take care of their clients. Her background and compassion make her a great addition to the team.
Tim Sorenson, our nursing manager, has a stellar and extensive background in caring for older adults. Ask Tim about his background, and he will share that he’s been a hospice home health social worker, a case manager, a clinical manager at hospice and home health facilities and a registered nurse.
Further, he has long specialized in gerontology, earning an MS MS Gerontology; specialization in Health Care and Aging Services Administration.
Tim also does a fair amount of volunteering in the community, having been heavily involved in Utah Gerontological Society Executive Board Office, Utah Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization among others.
His extensive knowledge of aging makes him a perfect team member to Assisting Hands Greater Murray.
Jennifer Percival is our administrative coordinator. Jennifer comes from the adjacent field of Special Olympics Utah. In various capacities, she has helped elevate Special Olympics Utah, working with athletes, venues and various stakeholders. Her strong administrative and office management experience, coupled with her attitude of service to others that is invaluable to our team.
