

Looking for resources on how to stay fit? Want to know if your blood pressure is where it should be? Always wanted to try yoga but just weren’t sure if you could do it? Palms of Pasadena Hospital will be hosting a Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, April 7, 9am – 11am. Display booths will provide general health education and information about the hospital’s various service lines.
In addition to information booths, screenings and exhibits, The South Pasadena Fire Department will offer attendees CPR and fire safety education and the St Petersburg Police Department will present K-9 dog demonstrations.
The hospital will also feature exciting interactive demonstrations to include robotic surgery, 3D virtual technology featuring the human heart, restorative yoga exercises and showings of our Caring Connection / ACE Unit video. We have also added face painting and balloon art for the children.
Assisting Hands Home Care will be present with information about home care options in our community along with several other local businesses.
A healthy lunch will be provided, including Vegetarian Chili, Summer Pasta Toss, Turkey Hotdogs and Baked Chips.
There are is no cost to attend and no RSVP is required.

She serves on a number of boards in Pinellas County including the Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber and Better Living Seniors (BLS), leading the Membership Committee. Annually, she hosts a Silver Santa Party, collecting donations for nearly 100 low income seniors in the county. She attends Blessed Sacrament Church, Seminole where she is an Ascribed Member of the Rosminian Order. When not busy Doing Good in the community, Becky is at home with her husband David & their 4 children, tending to their beehives and digging in the garden.
