So how DID our Assisting Hands Pinellas team earn the Assisting Hands National Growth Award for the US earlier this year? Assisting Hands has 70 offices in 23 states and serves thousands of clients every day. Let me tell you why this is so impactful to SO many: We did it TOGETHER-like minded professionals who we trust and who trust us to be on the same team..to #DoGoodWithLove.
When you have a passion to serve seniors…when you are in the midst of a pandemic and all around you are families grappling with how to cope with their loved one being isolated and unable to visit them or personally touch them…you hear the stress and see the increased mental health challenges happening to seniors, their families and the professionals that serve them behind closed doors with ever changing circumstances and deteriorating psyche.
Every day we at Assisting Hands Home Care strive to #DoGoodWithLove. To say that our mission is a challenge is an understatement. Each day through this Pandemic there have been obstacles thrown at us, in a way the world has never seen – as fast paced as home care is in “normal world”, we have been at warp speed for a year. What we have seen is the accentuation of how very impactful our services are to ALL of our community, not simply the seniors we serve. Our healthcare hands on heroes- “our Angels” ,the Aides that are conversing, bathing, dressing, walking , comforting and cooking for our clients , form strong bonds with their clients. They offer hands-on stability and peace of mind. Our care team provides so much more than the eye can see.
Our entire community is helped when we deliver what we promise-to #DoGoodWithLove
We are alleviating stress for the countless families whose loved ones we care for, which has given them the ability to focus on their jobs and home situations.
In addition, our Covid tested caregivers’ efforts have a ripple effect on teams that work in Memory Care Communities, Adult Day Care Centers, Senior Placement Advisors, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Hospital Discharge Planners, the VA, Attorneys, Guardians and Certified Aging Life Care Managers, Infusion Companies, Doctors, Support Group Facilitators, Home Health Companies and yes, even other Licensed Home Care Agencies.
I asked some of our referral partners if they have found comfort through Covid in knowing they can trust that the care WE provide will help make the life of that senior and the teams in their organization’s lives better.
Here are a few of their responses:
“I refer to Assisting Hands because I know I can trust their team to care for clients with compassion and continuity”.
Seasons Hospice
“My honest answer, I have faith in you. I trust You to make sure your people are performing up to our standards…”
Memory Care Community
“Without the additional support you give to some of our higher risk and more advanced residents we would have had to send them to a SNF”.
Memory Care Community
“Absolutely…in Healthcare you have never let me down or given me false information…that’s why I love you and your passion for our residents”.
Skilled Nursing Admissions Liaison
I share this news of the Assisting Hands US Franchise Growth Award NOT to impress you, rather to impress UPON you the fact that one to one home care, when provided by a company of integrity that insures, protects and continuously educates their Aides has always elevated the lives of seniors…Covid has merely magnified and illustrated in an irrefutable way the extreme value, to not only the senior receiving the care, but also to a myriad of people in our community.
Who do YOU know who can benefit from one-to-one care for their loved one? We’d love to discuss how our GIFTS can change a life!
