The Memory Café at Park Station is meeting this Thursday, October 13 to share Things that Go Bump In the Night, fall fun and reminiscence. The memory café offers social interaction, laughter, a bit of education and a whole lot of camaraderie. Who attends a Memory Café? Individuals who
• have been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment, early to middle stage Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory disorder
• have been told of their diagnosis and acknowledge their memory loss
• understand the purpose of the program, express interest and willingness to participate
• have no other medical conditions or serious mental illness which might put him/her or others at the cafe
• be a care partner (family or friend) attending with the person diagnosed with the disorder —
**Care partners are not required to attend but are welcomed.
Memory café is for family and friends, professional attendees are limited to the sponsors.
Our Oct. gathering will feature apple cider, pumpkins, poetry and Things that Go Bump in the Night.

Becky Moultrie is Owner and Administrator of Assisting Hands Home Care Serving Pinellas. Guided by a motto to Do Good with Love, she’s well positioned to do just that at Assisting Hands. She has a passion for helping families keep seniors and those who are diabled happy and healthy at home. She serves on a number of boards in Pinellas County including the Pinellas Park Gateway Chamber and Better Living Seniors (BLS), leading the Membership Committee. Annually, she hosts a Silver Santa Party, collecting donations for nearly 100 low income seniors in the county. She attends Blessed Sacrament Church, Seminole where she is an Ascribed Member of the Rosminian Order. When not busy Doing Good in the community, Becky is at home with her husband David & their 4 children, tending to their beehives and digging in the garden.
