“Nevertheless She Persisted: Women of Courage, Tenacity and Strength” is an art exhibition of work by women artists that examines the strength and resilience displayed by women in our society.
About WGS Women’s Art Exhibit
This exhibition happens each year and is a collaboration between the Women’s and Gender Studies department of Oakton Community College and their on campus Koehnline Museum of Art.
Over 90 works by women artists from around the globe that celebrate the persistence of women are on display in this exhibition.
Stella Spiridonova: Caregiver and Artist
Stella Spiridonova, one of our best caregivers at Assisting Hands Home Care in Schaumburg, was invited to participate and has a painting on display as part of this exhibition. Her painting was inspired by the large movements of people across borders and across continents.
Stella has over 20 years of experience in international art exhibits, galleries, studios, and graphic arts and we are honored to have such a great team member be a part of this amazing exhibition.
