Today, on Giving Tuesday, Assisting Hands Home Care-Schaumburg proudly partnered with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to make a tangible difference in the lives of children worldwide. With the enthusiastic support of many members from the Schaumburg Business Association (SBA), we pack meals filled with love and hope. Together, we packed an incredible 281 boxes, which equates to an astonishing 60,000 meals!
These meals will provide daily nutrition for a year to 166 children—a monumental effort fueled by teamwork, dedication, and the desire to give back. The meals included a unique and nutrient-dense food called “MannaPack Rice” or Golden rice, specifically designed to combat malnutrition and bring smiles to young faces around the world.
The energy in the room was electric, Assisting Hands team members, and volunteers working side by side, sharing laughter and stories while packing. It was not just a task but a celebration of community and purpose.
As part of the Assisting Hands Home Care – Schaumburg family, it was an absolute honor to take part in such a meaningful initiative. Supporting an organization like Feed My Starving Children reminds us of the power of community, compassion, and coming together for a common cause.
