There is no question that everyone loves music including seniors. Many thanks to Assisting Hands Business Development manager Tim Wilsey who made an amazing and entertaining performance, who specializes in jazz and blues music. His astounding presentation of jazz and blues refers back to favorites including Count Bassie, Buddy Rich, and more. The residents of Alden Poplar Creek and their families loved Tim’s performance.

We have all experienced music’s ability to bring cheer, evoke memories of the past, and provide comfort. For years, people have benefited from music therapy, which uses musical interventions to improve physical, emotional and cognitive issues in seniors who need home care.
