My journey to Assisting Hands Home Care began when my father underwent surgery and rehabilitation, leaving both he and my mother unable to safely care for one another in the home they had shared for more than 50 years. Like many families, my siblings and I faced the difficult realization that our parents needed additional support. After welcoming them into our home, I gained a firsthand understanding of the patience, compassion, and guidance families need during life’s most challenging transitions. That experience inspired a monumental change in my own life and a commitment to bringing “Peace of Mind” to families facing similar circumstances.
Today, as a proud Fairfield resident, I bring that personal experience to every family I serve. I believe business is personal and that trust, compassion, and genuine care are the foundation of every meaningful relationship. Those values guide our mission to help loved ones age safely, comfortably, and with dignity in the place they call home.

My commitment to serving others has defined my life as a police officer, U.S. Army veteran, and volunteer firefighter. My greatest lesson in service, however, came when I learned my father had been privately battling diabetes and cancer — becoming seriously ill. Knowing he needed me, my wife and I made the difficult decision to make a life change. We returned home to Connecticut with our four children to help care for him during the most challenging chapter of his life.
