Hospice Care

The purpose of hospice care assistance is to help maintain the comfort and quality of life for family members with limited life expectancy. Hospice care has given many families peace of mind as they navigate the challenging period at the end of life, freeing them up to arrange end-of-life affairs or focus on the spiritual needs of their loved one while our trusted caregivers handle the physical and emotional aspects of care.

During hospice care assistance, our team priorities:

Comfort and peace: We help our hospice care patients to feel as comfortable and safe as possible. Those receiving hospice care will most likely prefer to remain at home so they can be in a familiar environment and stay with their families.

Compassion: You can rest assured that your loved one will be treated with total dignity and respect at the end of their life.

Dedication: Part of our purpose is to help individuals live out their remaining days in the best, most comfortable way they possibly can. Our caregivers are dedicated to their clients even during challenging times and will attend to your loved one’s personal care needs, including bathing, feeding, changing linens and keeping bed sheets clean.

Our trained staff members can develop a custom care plan that meets your loved one’s unique needs. Many hospice patients need assistance with physical and emotional needs. Additionally, a hospice agency will be on hand to provide professional specialized hospice assistance during this time. Our caregivers stay round-the-clock and are trained to work in conjunction with the hospice team, which may provide a visiting nurse, chaplain, or other forms of intermittent care..

Note that many hospice services, including a visit from a nurse and a CNA for bathing assistance, are covered by Medicare.
