Matt spent his career in healthcare long before he considered owning a business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and a Master of Health Administration, both from Indiana University, and built his professional foundation in operations roles at the VA Hospital and Hendricks Regional Health. Those years gave him a close look at what patients and families actually need and how often the system falls short of delivering it. When an unexpected career change opened a new door, he found himself drawn toward a more direct way to serve people, and Assisting Hands was the right fit. Matt and his family are proud to call Plainfield home, right in the heart of the communities he now serves. When he is not working, you will find him outside, hiking, camping, canoeing, or fishing.
Tashina has been the steady anchor of the Horn family, dedicating herself to raising their six children. She brings that same warmth and commitment to Assisting Hands Home Care, where caring for people is at the center of everything. When she gets a moment to herself, Tashina loves exploring national and state parks, hitting the trails, and getting lost in a good book.

George came to Assisting Hands with a life built around service. After 11 years in the U.S. Army, he put down roots in Hendricks County and never looked back. His healthcare experience includes seven years at the Indianapolis VA in administrative roles, plus time in Brownsburg Schools as a 1 on 1 aide to a student with Autism, experience that gave him a real understanding of how medical and care teams operate. He holds a degree in Public Administration and has a genuine passion for helping people. When he is not working, George is almost always doing something softball related, whether coaching at Brownsburg High School, umpiring, or giving lessons at D-BAT in Avon. His wife Elizabeth is a caregiver with Assisting Hands, and the two of them are deeply connected to the west side communities this business serves.
