Depression in seniors, especially during the winter months, is a significant concern here at Assisting Hands Broomfield. Seasonal Affective Disorder, isolation, and reduced physical activity can all contribute to making depression more pronounced. Isolation and depression (which I have written about before) can lead to worsening physical health as well as cognitive decline.
