Today February 16 is National Caregivers Day. This is a great time to highlight the hard work that our Assisting Hands caregivers do every day. I always tell our employees that it takes a special type of person to succeed as a caregiver. You must have a big heart and a strong work ethic – everything else you can learn!

Our caregivers perform so many different tasks for our clients and their families. From personal care like helping with bathing and dressing, to cleaning and sanitizing the home environment, to providing safety and security oversight, caregivers do it all! Many of our caregivers become part of the family over time, and can give the family some much needed respite from all the caregiving that they provide.
