Hi, I’m Paul Carey, Owner and President of Assisting Hands Home Care serving Norfolk and Suffolk Counties and Surrounding Areas. I have lived in Norfolk and Suffolk counties for over 20 years and like many in our communities, I am committed to helping others lead their best lives by optimizing health care. With my neighbors, I volunteer to eradicate food and clothing insecurity and promote cancer care as a volunteer at Community Servings, Cradles to Crayons and the Pan-Mass Challenge. Before joining Assisting Hands, my positions helped to create new treatments for medical patients while at Johnson & Johnson, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Cornell University and Ascent Pediatrics. Each day offers the opportunity to make a difference in our community and I am humbled to uplift and support individuals in Norfolk and Suffolk Counties as the local Owner of an Assisting Hands Home Care business. My agency aims to earn your trust by caring for your loved ones as Assisting Hands Home Care currently does for thousands of individuals each day nationwide.

Keely Clark-Mills, RN

I am Keely Clark-Mills, a dedicated Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in various facets of healthcare, including homecare, hospice, insurance, case management, and patient advocacy. My professional journey has provided me with a profound understanding of the complexities of patient care and the pivotal role it plays in the well-being of individuals and families.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with patients from diverse backgrounds, allowing me to develop a compassionate approach to healthcare. I believe in treating
not just the illness but the whole person. This holistic perspective has guided my practice in homecare and hospice settings, where I have been able to foster meaningful relationships with patients and their families during some of the most challenging times in their lives.
In addition to my clinical roles, I am passionate about advocacy. I have actively volunteered with youth programs and community organizations aimed at stabilizing the lives of homeless individuals. This work has opened my eyes to the systemic issues many face and has fueled my commitment to serving those in need. I have also had the honor of working with survivors of sexual assault, providing them with the care, support, and advocacy they require to heal and reclaim their lives. These experiences have profoundly shaped my understanding of trauma and recovery and reinforced my belief in the importance of compassion in healthcare.
Outside of my professional responsibilities, I cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. I am an avid Disney enthusiast, and I enjoy exploring the magic of Disney parks and films with my loved ones. This passion not only brings joy to my life but also serves as a reminder of the importance of creating happiness and fostering connections, whether personally or professionally.
I am committed to continuing my journey in healthcare, advocating for my patients, and expanding my efforts in community service. I believe that through empathy and dedication, we can create a more supportive and compassionate world for everyone.
