Invite your father to a nice memorable dinner – one of the things seniors share the most with our caregivers at home is the following, “I wish my son or daughter visited me more often, but I understand they are busy.” . How would you like to pleasantly surprise your father and tell him, “let’s go out, dinner’s on me tonight!”? Your time and companionship is very valuable to him, every minute of your time is precious to him.

Help your father at home – maybe he needs help in the garden, maybe there’s some project that was never completed. Whatever the household task, offer your help, he will greatly appreciate your thinking of him.
