Maria Brazier is an amazing woman. She first came from England as a retired nurse and began with the Schaumburg branch of Assisting Hands Home Care as a live-in caregiver. She said, “I did not realize that there are so many elderly people living alone and lonely with no one to look after them regularly or at all.”

Maria loved working as a nurse and was very satisfied with the job, but she gained a great sense of fulfillment from her job with Assisting Hands Home. Here she is able to give 100 percent of her attention, dedication, and love to her client as a one-on-one caregiver. It is Maria’s hope that through her work, she is able to uplift her clients’ spirits everyday and we, as well as her clients, believe she does this wonderfully.

About Patricia

Patricia is one of Maria’s thankful clients. Maria has a great personality and is always helping Patricia, keeping her best interest in mind. As a part of the home care service, Patricia prepares healthy and nutritious meals for Patricia. They have many things in common, in which they discovered on the first day of the job; this makes their days together even more fun for the both of them. Patricia said they can always talk about life experiences, politics, moves, music, and much more.

Maria works 24/7 with Patricia and loves it, helping her household management and organizing her paperwork. Patricia describes Maria as a lovely woman and is blessed to have Maria as her live-in caregiver.
