Activities of Daily Living
Our caregivers can assist with all of these self-care tasks.
ADLs, or Activities of Daily Living, include self-care activities that allow a person to take care of themselves. This includes everything from bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, eating, and personal hygiene activities. If there is a self-care task that the individual is not able to handle themselves, our caregivers are available to assist.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living
In order to live independently, one must be able to handle their Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). These include transportation, taking medication, housekeeping, and meal preparation. If you loved one is no longer able to handle these activities, they can be included in their home health care plan.
