Karina Teixeira, our Administrator, is an experienced professional with over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and management. She held several positions in a multinational company, has lived in 7 different countries. Her years of experience have given her the opportunity to learn the best and most effective ways to deliver the quality of service that the Assisting Hands customers deserve.
Teixeira was drawn to the Assisting Hands Home Care franchise model after experiencing the need for safe and comfortable care for a loved one. In 2011, her father-in-law fell and fractured his hip while visiting her family, requiring 24/7 care for him in her home. After facing the challenge of finding caregivers she and her husband trusted with his care, Teixeira was inspired to open a business to provide peace of mind to seniors and their loved ones.
Nincy Blanco, RN
Director of Nursing
Nincy Blanco, our Director of Nursing, is a Registered Nurse with over 15 years of clinical, consulting and home health care experience. Nincy oversees our staff of caregivers by training, motivating, and supervising them to maintain high standards of patient care for our clients. She is a dedicated leader and is passionate about making sure our clients are happy and well cared for.
