About Assisting Hands Home Care

Every caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care is treated like a hero. As it takes compassion, care and empathy to perform this role, we all share the common goal of helping others in their activities of daily living. We also ensure each caregiver is prepared and has the proper training and resources they need before meeting a client.

Before being hired, we ask each applicant to submit a background check and to show proof of a clean driving record, CPR certification and TB test documents. These high standards are put in place to protect our clients.

Once hired, training will be provided so you will be ready to meet the clients and start services.

Caregiver Requirements

• CNA License or HHA Training Certificate
• Qualified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR certification card)
• A test for tuberculosis (TB)
• Level 2 live-scan criminal background check
• In Services
• Safe driving record
• Work permit

Each of the following qualities are preferred but not required:

• Strong understanding and experience working with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s patients
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNA or HHA
• Open hours availability
