In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, communities throughout Sarasota and the Gulf Coast have experienced significant devastation. Assisting Hands Home Care Sarasota and Gulf Coast proudly stands with Florida’s recovery efforts through the Hope Florida initiative, which helps connect affected individuals with vital resources like supplies, shelter, debris removal, and meals.
Recently, First Lady Casey DeSantis visited Tri-Par Estates, a non-profit 55+ mobile home park in Sarasota that was severely impacted by the hurricane. Approximately 80% of its 872 mobile homes suffered damage, with 40% deemed uninhabitable, highlighting the urgent need for support to help residents recover.
In partnership with the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), meals donated by Feeding Florida, a statewide network of food banks, were distributed to residents. Assisting Hands Sarasota and Gulf Coast are actively collaborating with Tri-Par Estates to gather essential items and financial contributions to assist those in need.

At Assisting Hands Home Care Sarasota and Gulf Coast, we are dedicated to supporting our community during these difficult times.
