The event begins at 8 AM, followed by a ceremony at 8:30 AM, and the walk begins at 9 AM, all taking place at Nathan Benderson Park-Regatta Island in Sarasota, FL 34235.
What is the Walk to End Alzheimer’s?
This event is more than just a walk, it is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Organized by the Alzheimer’s Association, the Walk to End Alzheimer’s is held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide. This powerful movement unites communities to fight Alzheimer’s disease and work towards finding a cure. All funds raised through the Walk to End Alzheimer’s go directly to the Alzheimer’s Association to further the care, support, and research of this disease.
