Meet the Team

McKenzie Mays has been the Branch Manager of Assisting Hands Home Care since January 2021. Since starting with the company as a Client Care Coordinator in 2017, she has always strived to make sure her clients receive nothing but the best. She finds honesty, respect and dedication to be the most valuable qualities for success in running her office.

Born and raised in the Treasure Valley, McKenzie has worked in the healthcare field since high school. When she’s not at work, she enjoys getting her nails done, shopping and spending time with her family. As a mother of three, she keeps herself busy with various sports practices and extracurricular activities.

Shaylynn Crawford is our Lead Client Care Coordinator and has been a part of the Assisting Hands Boise team since August of 2021.

As Lead Client Care Coordinator, she acts as the matchmaker of the office, fitting clients with their ideal caregiver and caregivers with their ideal clients. She’s in charge of scheduling and coordinating care for her clients in Boise and the surrounding areas.

Working with the elderly and the disabled has always been a passion of hers and having a disabled mother herself, has only fueled that passion. It has also helped her understand the needs of her clients on a more personal level. Prior to Assisting Hands, Shaylynn worked for five years as a Medication Technician.

When Shaylynn is not working, she’s spending time with her family and her daughter. She enjoys camping, four-wheeling and plant shopping.
