Assisting Hands Home Care is proud to assist seniors, expecting mothers, and adults with disabilities with professional home care services in Park Ridge, Niles, Norridge, IL and the surrounding areas of Cook County (Check out our Full Service Area).
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Our caregivers can help with meal preparation and a number of ADLs and IADLs.
Self-care tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, transferring, and other personal hygiene tasks are included as Activities of Daily Living. Your loved one’s ability to complete these tasks is measured by how well they can manage these activities. If there is something with which they need assistance, our caregivers can be there for them.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) are other tasks in which one must manage in order to live independently. These include transportation, meal preparation, taking medication, and housekeeping. If there is something your loved one is not able to manage themselves, we can also include these in their home care plan.
