On August 7, 2025, we had the pleasure of participating in the 2nd Annual Aging Services Resource Fair hosted by H.E.A.L.S. of Southern Nevada—and what an inspiring day it was.
Held at the Select Health Building in Las Vegas, the event brought together a vibrant mix of healthcare professionals, nonprofit organizations, and community advocates, all united by a shared mission: to support aging with dignity through wrap-around care and meaningful connection.

As a vendor, Assisting Hands South Central had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of professionals—each offering unique services that complement our own. The conversations sparked exciting possibilities for future collaborations that could enhance the lives of the clients we serve.
One of the highlights of the day was the featured presentation by Dr. Lakeshia Gibson, a neuropsychiatrist whose insights on The Effect of Neuropsychiatric Syndromes on Loneliness and Isolation were both thought-provoking and deeply relevant to our work. Her talk underscored the importance of holistic care and emotional well-being in aging populations.

Guests also enjoyed a light, healthy lunch, which added a thoughtful touch to the event’s welcoming atmosphere.
We’re grateful to H.E.A.L.S. for creating a space where connection, education, and advocacy come together so seamlessly. Events like these remind us that aging services are strongest when we work together—and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
