About Assisting Hands Home Care

Each caregiver is also prepared and trained before meeting a client to help each shift run smoothly.
During the hiring process, we ask each applicant to submit a background check and provide proof of a clean driving record, TB test documents and CPR certification. As we must protect our clients, these high standards must be put into place.
After being hired, each caregiver will also attend in-house training to be fully prepared to meet our clients.

Caregiver Requirements
CPR certified- Safe driving record
- Reliable and consistent work history
- Proof of employment eligibility
- Tuberculosis test (TB test)
- State and national background checks
Each of the following are also preferred but not required:
- Ability to transfer up to 225 pounds
- 3 years experience working as a CNA or caregiver
- Experience working with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Multiple Sclerosis and dementia patients
- Open availability
