Assisting Hands Ranks in Entrepreneur’s “Franchise 500”

Home Care Franchise 500NAMPA, Idaho (February 7, 2017) — The national office of home healthcare provider Assisting Hands Home Care today announced it has been ranked #287 in Entrepreneur’s 2017 “Franchise 500.”

Entrepreneur’s “Franchise 500” is based on system size, growth, and financial strength and stability.  Assisting Hands ranked 307th on last year’s list.

In 2016, Assisting Hands opened 19 units for a total of 104 operating in the U.S., one international unit, and three company-owned units.  An area representative was added last year totaling eight ARs.  Eight units transferred ownership.

“To be recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine in the Franchise 500 is an honor,” said Lane Kofoed, president and CEO of Assisting Hands.  “We will continue to diligently grow our brand at a pace that allows each new franchise to have exceptional training and support.”

Kofoed says 2016 ended strong for his company with 108 territories sold and four more offices opening in early 2017. Many of Assisting Hands’ 48 franchise offices service multiple territories.

Another industry report, Franchise Business Review, recently named Assisting Hands a top franchise in its 2017 Top Franchises Report.  Assisting Hands is #6 in senior services and #24 in mid-sized systems.  Assisting Hands was among 334 franchise brands, representing over 30,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research, which was conducted between May 2015 and November 2016. Sixty percent of Assisting Hands’ owners completed the surveys and scored the national office higher than FBR’s benchmark score and higher than the 2016 senior care sector as a whole. Assisting Hands’ highest scores came in the areas of honesty and ethics, cares about success, support the brand, respect and trust.
