Immunity Boosting Orange Smoothie

With sick season still among us, why not start the year off with a hefty dose of vitamin C, a refreshing orange flavor and a hint of vanilla! This immunity boosting smoothie will give you all of the above. Smoothies are a great way to add fresh produce to your diet because they’re quick and easy to make. Plus, there are endless ways to combine ingredients to make deliciously healthy smoothies.

This refreshing orange smoothie is great for this time of year, when colds and other germs are floating around. Both fresh oranges and mango contain a great dose of Vitamin C, which can help protect your immunity. When it comes to staying healthy, we need to do a little more than just drinking healthy smoothies. A combination of nutritious foods, exercise, stress reduction, and good old hand-washing are the best ways to prevent illnesses. But finding some good and vitamin packed smoothie will help you start to get your diet on a healthy immune protecting start.

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Orange (peeled)
  • ½ Medium Banana
  • 1 Cup Frozen Mango Pieces
  • ½ Cup Almond Milk
  • ¼ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Serve immediately
