Assisting Hands Home Care Opens in Wayne, New Jersey

WAYNE, N.J. (October 24, 2014) — Assisting Hands Home Care has opened a new location in Wayne, New Jersey. Owner Gary Geresi opened this new in-home care business, located at 1211 Hamburg Turnpike, Suite #215, Wayne, NJ 07470, serving Morris and Passaic counties.

“I want to make a difference in people’s lives by offering a solution to families dealing with home health care limitations,” said Geresi.

Assisting Hands Home Care-Wayne offers in-home, personal and companion care services to seniors, those with physical and developmental disabilities and those recovering from surgery or hospitalization. Geresi employs caregivers who provide services to clients in their residence, allowing them to maintain their independence, and not be forced to move into an assisted living or nursing home facility.

“With the baby-boomer generation now entering their senior years, the need for home health care will continue to become a bigger factor for many families,” said Geresi.

The entrepreneur was inspired to help those needing care of their loved ones after watching his own parents deal with the reality that Geresi’s grandparents could no longer live at home by themselves. As Geresi grew older, he realized that their strong independence was slipping away. Before opening Assisting Hands Home Care-Wayne, Geresi worked in accounting and financial systems for industry leaders in the pharmaceutical, entertainment, publishing and manufacturing sectors. He decided to combine his passion to serve others with his expert business skills to launch his new in-home care business.

“Initially I will be hiring a full-time Registered Nurse (RN),” said Geresi. “As the business expands, I will be hiring Schedulers and Client Relations Managers. The backbone of the staff will be the Certified Home Health Aides employed to serve our clients.”
