Assisting Hands Home Care’s Karvel Kofoed Family Recognized as a 2023 Franchise Rock Star by Franchise Business Review

July 13, 2023 – Lee’s Summit, MO – Assisting Hands Home Care’s Karvel Kofoed and his family were identified by franchise research firm, Franchise Business Review, as being one of 2023’s Franchise Rock Stars.

The Kofoed Family was selected from over 36,000 franchisees, representing more than 360 brands that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research.

The Franchise Rock Stars were nominated by their franchise brand’s leadership in one of eight categories as franchisees who set admirable examples when it comes to leadership, business acumen, financial and professional success, and contributing to their community.

“There are so many stories of inspiring franchise owners who are living their dreams of successful business ownership, that it was incredibly difficult to select this year’s Franchise Rock Stars,” said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review. “In the end, we chose individuals who truly exemplify a strong work ethic and a real commitment to their business and their communities.”

Kofoed’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in the success of his family’s company. He has a clear understanding of the company’s goals and, along with his family, has developed a strategic plan to achieve them. He is a great communicator and has built strong relationships with his employees, clients, and partners. He is also an excellent mentor and feels especially privileged to be working with his wife, his daughters, his son-in-law, and their families.  Together they have created a company culture that is focused on excellence, and this has translated into exceptional service for their clients.

“We are extremely proud of Karvel and his team, who are exceptional members of our Assisting Hands FOFO® (Family of Franchise Owners),” said Andrew Dahle, Chief Operations Officer. “This award not only underscores his personal achievements but also reflects our shared values as a franchise dedicated to compassionate and quality care.” Dahle said.

“We are honored to receive this award,” said Kofoed. “My family and our entire Lee’s Summit team believe that we are all architects of change, capable of rock-star feats. Our goal is to keep rocking and doing what needs to be done to provide the highest quality care to our clients, and the best work environment for our wonderful caregivers.” Kofoed went on to express that as a community service company, he and his family are not just building a business but also assisting those in need, cultivating opportunities for the workforce, and helping to shape the in-home-care world.
