Assisting Hands Named a Top Franchise for Women

NAMPA Idaho (February 17, 2017) — Franchise Business Review named Assisting Hands in its 2017 Top 50 Franchises for Women Report, and the home care company ranks fourth in the senior services category.

Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm that performs independent surveys of franchisee satisfaction, provides the only rankings of franchises based solely on actual franchisee satisfaction and performance. Franchise Business Review publishes its rankings of top franchises in its annual “Guide to Today’s Top Franchises,” as well as in special reports throughout the year, that rank the top franchises in specific sectors.

Assisting Hands Home Care was among 300 franchise brands, representing over 6,400 female franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research. Assisting Hands’ franchise owners were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems, including leadership, training and support, financial opportunity and work/life balance. Sixty percent of Assisting Hands’ franchise owners completed the survey.  Findings from the Assisting Hands Franchise Satisfaction survey:

  • 93.3% say Assisting Hands is honest and ethical
  • 90.4% say Assisting Hands cares about success of its franchise owners
  • 90.2% say Assisting Hands supports the brand
  • 89.4% respects Assisting Hands
  • 88.5% trusts Assisting Hands

“Assisting Hands’ female franchise owners span the United States including several in California, Texas, Illinois and Florida, as well as Wisconsin, Arizona, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania,” said Lane Kofoed, Assisting Hands CEO. “Many of these women have been part of our family for years, and they are successful in their businesses. Overall key findings from Franchise Business Review’s research on women’s satisfaction with their franchise:

  • 90% enjoy operating their business
  • 88% enjoy being part of their franchise
  • 84% respect their franchisor
  • 80% believe their franchisor acts with a high level of integrity
  • 74% would “do it again” knowing what they know today
  • 85% would recommend their franchise brand to others
  • 54% say their work/life is balanced or very balanced
