At Assisting Hands Schaumburg, we recognize the hard work and dedication of our caregivers who go above and beyond to provide excellent care for our clients with our Caregiver of the Month award.

For the month of April, Assisting Hands Schaumburg would like to recognize Griselda Fernandez as our Caregiver of the Month.

Griselda is a CNA that has been working as a caregiver for over 10 years.  Her hard work and dedication to her clients is inspiring as she is always willing to step in and provide care when needed, regardless of the circumstances.

Griselda is one of our most dedicated and reliable caregivers and she never turns down a request to take a shift to help one of our clients.

On Easter Sunday, we received an emergency request for an available caregiver and inquired if Griselda would be available to help.

She not only happily took the shift, but also brought lunch for the client so that they could celebrate Easter together.  Griselda responded to the request by saying, “Mrs. Jones is so sweet and nice, and I will be honored to help her on Easter.”

We certainly appreciate Griselda’s dedication to her work and so do our clients.  Many of our clients love Griselda and often request her to provide care.  Griselda also enjoys working for Assisting Hands Schaumburg and loves that her co-workers are like a family and ready to help each other any way they can.

One of our goals at Assisting Hands is to be a good companion for our clients while providing them with quality care.  Many of our clients have gotten to know Griselda personally and we would like to help you get to know Griselda better as well:

• She is a CNA with 10 plus years’ experience as a caregiver

• She shows extreme dedication to her job and is always willing to help with a request without hesitation.
