Honoring Our Heroes: Assisting Hands Milford Hosts Veterans Event at Abbey Park
Assisting Hands Milford, led by owner Benjamin Bowerman, had the honor of hosting a special Veterans Event at Abbey Park @ Mill River. The event brought together local veterans, their families, and community members to celebrate the courage and sacrifices made by our heroes.
Benjamin Bowerman, an active member of the U.S. Air Force for over 12 years, deeply understands the true meaning of service and sacrifice. “It takes a veteran to understand the true sacrifice made for this country,” says Benjamin. “But the real sacrifice is felt by the families of veterans. Their spouses and children often bear the weight of that hardship while their loved ones serve. That’s why Assisting Hands Milford is committed to supporting not just the veterans, but their families as well.”
At the event, attendees enjoyed a day of camaraderie, remembrance, and support. It was a chance to come together and honor the veterans who have given so much for our freedom. Assisting Hands Milford is proud to provide care and services to both veterans and their families, ensuring that they receive the support they deserve.
