On February 17th, 2025, Assisting Hands Home Care Westlake had the honor of sponsoring the Souper Bingo event at Fairview Park Senior Center. This event brought together nearly 60 seniors from the community for a fun-filled day of friendly competition, delicious food, and socializing.
The purpose of the Souper Bingo event was simple: to bring seniors together, allow them to connect, and enjoy each other’s company. It also gave us the chance to showcase our senior care services and raise awareness about the importance of in-home care for older adults. With five local companies sponsoring, it was a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the seniors who make our neighborhood special.
At the event, we set up a soup station for everyone to enjoy, offering a variety of tasty options to warm up the attendees on a chilly winter day. The bingo game kicked off shortly after, filling the room with excitement as attendees eagerly marked their cards and cheered for the lucky winners. Bob Smith, the franchise owner of Assisting Hands Home Care Westlake, gave a brief presentation, highlighting the services we provide, including personal care, dementia care, Parkinson’s care, hospice care, and transportation. Bob spoke about how we tailor our care plans to meet the unique needs of each client and how we strive to improve the quality of life for seniors in our community.
The atmosphere at the event was full of energy and joy. Watching the seniors interact, share stories, and make new connections was truly heartwarming. The laughter and camaraderie filled the room, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with such a wonderful group of seniors and to showcase how we can support them in maintaining their independence at home.
