At Assisting Hands, the heart of our business is our caregivers. We know that being a caregiver requires a wide range of skills, creativity and preparedness, all in addition to having a warm heart!

Our caregivers are hard at work each and every day to represent Assisting Hands by providing our clients with the bright smiles, delightful conversation and practical helping hands that they deserve. We couldn’t be happier to have the strong and compassionate (and growing!) team that we have today. 

Our caregivers show up for us, and most importantly for you, every day, which is why we are always striving to find ways to celebrate them. That is why, this month, we kicked off a new tradition with September Caregiver Appreciation Day! Every month, we will be hosting an open-house style party in the office where caregivers can stop by throughout the day, say hello and pick up some treats as our way of saying, Thank you!  

International Coffee Month Theme Caregiver Appreciation Day Goodie Bags

This month, our theme for Caregiver Appreciation Day was International Coffee Month. We had a blast decorating the office and preparing coffee-themed goodie bags…complete with coffee bean fragrance sachets! We also had some lovely roses for our caregivers to take with them…and of course, we had coffee and other beverages for our caregivers to relax with in our little office family room. At Assisting Hands Home Care we are big fans of feeling at home!  

One highlight of the party was hosting a raffle with two fun prizes: a Queen Bee Bath gift set and the grand prize…an air fryer! You can check out our Facebook live video of Daniellah announcing the raffle winners here:

We had a wonderful time getting to see our caregivers and being able to catch up. Our caregivers are so busy providing quality home care to their clients we don’t always get to see them!
