Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Our caregivers can help with a number of self-care tasks to help them feel safe and independent at home.
Self-care tasks including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, and other personal hygiene tasks are known as Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). The ability for one to take care of themselves is determined by how well they are able to manage these tasks. If there is an activity with which your loved one struggles, our caregivers are ready to help.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Tasks that include meal preparation, transportation, taking medications, and housekeeping are known as Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). The ability for one to live independently by themselves is measured by the ability to handle these tasks. If there is one or more with which your loved one needs help, contact Assisting Hands Home Care.
