Caregivers who work in home care often don’t have the chance to meet their coworkers or get to feel part of a team or workplace. They develop their closest relationships with clients.
Last week was an excuse to get the whole gang together at 25N Coworking in Arlington Heights. It was such a beautiful space and I think our caregivers felt the love from the staff and fresh coffee and goodies. We had a chance to present awards for the year and brainstorm ideas for making Assisting Hands Home care Arlington Heights the best we can be! Caregivers got to know each other a bit better and we reviewed quality care standards and communication practices among caregivers sharing clients. These kind of check-ins are so important, yet so difficult in a field where families depend on us for round-the-clock care.
