For us, February is a month all about LOVE and appreciating the amazing people you have in your life. We are forever thankful for our team of caregivers who go out to take care of their clients every day, even when there is foot of snow in their way!
One such dedicated and steadfast caregiver is our Caregiver of the Month for February…Maggie! Maggie is devoted to her clients and her clients are just as happy to have her.
Feedback from Maggie’s Clients
Here is some beautiful feedback we received from one of Maggie’s clients:
“Maggie is friendly, hard working and kindhearted. In the beginning I was hesitant to have a caregiver, even though I knew I needed one. We clicked and I don’t know what I’d do without her.
She knows my routine and does not have to be told what to do. She is always looking for more to accomplish and do for me. She goes above and beyond for me and I am truly appreciative of her. Congratulations to Maggie!”
About Maggie
Maggie loves to bring relief and help to her clients. She says she feels good knowing that she is making a difference in her clients’ lives when she does a good job. And we can vouch for Maggie and confirm that she does a wonderful job! Maggie says that she likes working for Assisting Hands because we are involved every step of the way and she can tell that we care about our clients…we don’t like to brag but we have to agree!
Maggie has some wonderful advice that she would give to new caregivers that we think is so important for caregivers… and in life in general! Maggie reminds us that it is always important to get to know people without judgment and find out what you have in common. That is how she connects with her clients and is able to connect with them as beautifully unique human beings.
When she isn’t busy being a stellar caregiver, Maggie has a curious mind for science and loves watching documentaries and Neil Degrasse Tyson. She is passionate about researching and studying the disease ALS after watching a documentary about it. Maggie has a 10 year old son who she describes as the “sweetest kid ever” and she enjoys sledding and skiing with him around this time of year. The one sentiment Maggie would like to leave us with: stay inquisitive!
