When you first meet Zoe, you’ll notice her bubbly, upbeat, outgoing personality. After a few moments, you’ll see how caring, helpful, hardworking, and downright smart she is!

A nursing student, Zoe likes to keep learning, reading medical research and ebooks about medical practices. Zoe says she always puts herself in her client’s shoes and thinks ahead to provide the best care she can. Every day she strives to be the best caregiver she can be. She embraces each experience she comes across and is a great helping hand for new caregivers by showing them the client’s routines and sharing tips and tricks on how to accomplish certain tasks.

Zoe is a true team player. We even received a call from one of our overnight caregivers to let us know that Zoe had arrived at work early to help her clean the snow off her car. That’s just the kind of person Zoe is: always full of energy and looking to lend a helping hand without expecting anything in return.

Caregiving is a Joy for Zoe

Zoe calls herself an open person who loves to do charity work in her community and share laughs with her clients. She does her job because it’s a joy and likes to hangout with the clients, who are like family to her. Her advice to new caregivers is to put yourself in your client’s shoes and imagine how you would  like to be treated if it was you. In the couple months that Zoe has been with us, we have received feedback from co-workers and clients about Zoe’s compassion and personality when it comes to providing quality care. In five years time Zoe sees herself as a nurse, married to her boyfriend, living in Chicago and working for Rush Hospital. Zoe goes above and puts her client before herself. She is truly a golden caregiver with a heart for service.
