Assistance with Dressing, Toileting, Bathing and Personal Care
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Personal care activities that one must do to live an independent life are considered Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and they include personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, using the restroom, ambulation, and eating. If your loved ones need help with any of their ADLs, our caregivers will assist them to ensure their independence and safety.
Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)
Activities that are necessary to complete to live an independent life, but are not considered basic personal care, are called Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). These activities include transportation, meal preparation, taking medication, and housekeeping. If your loved ones need help with their IADLs, our caregivers will provide the assistance they need to live comfortably at home.
