In order to receive care through our VA programs, your loved ones need to apply for benefits with the Department of Veterans Affairs. - Must have at least 3 activity of daily living (ADL) dependencies
- Significant cognitive impairment
VA Respite Program
Veterans who qualify for this program will receive temporary home care or respite care. Applicants for this program must also be evaluated by a social worker, medical doctor, or registered nurse to qualify. Those who meet one of the following criteria will be accepted:
- Dependency for at least 3 ADLs
- Significant cognitive impairment
