This allows them to get care at home. The requirements are an interdisciplinary assessment for geriatric extended care (GEC), inability to handle three or more ADLs, and cognitive impairment.
- VA Respite Care Program
This program is for temporary care, and they will still need to do an interdisciplinary assessment, have trouble with three or more ADLs, and cognitive impairment.
