At Assisting Hands Home Care in Batavia, we believe in being active members of our community and staying connected with the seniors and families we serve. This past Friday, we were proud to once again participate in the annual Super Savvy Senior Expo, hosted by the Batavia Park District — an event we eagerly look forward to every year!
The expo brought together a wide range of vendors who offer valuable services for local seniors. From assisted living communities and rehabilitation centers to home care providers, senior advocacy groups, and even legal and financial experts, the event was filled with resources and opportunities for older adults to learn, connect, and explore helpful options.
Our team was there with a vibrant information table, sharing details about the compassionate home care services we provide throughout Batavia and surrounding areas. We enjoyed meaningful conversations with attendees and handed out plenty of fun giveaways. One of the highlights at our booth was offering free blood pressure screenings — a simple yet important way to help seniors stay informed about their health. This service was very popular and sparked great engagement throughout the day.
Events like this remind us how valuable community partnerships are when it comes to supporting seniors and their families. We’re grateful to the Batavia Park District for organizing such an impactful day and to everyone who stopped by our booth to learn more about how we can help.
