September was a busy and rewarding month for Assisting Hands Home Care, as we participated in two local senior health fairs that allowed us to connect with our community and share the services we provide to make daily life easier for seniors.
Just for the Health of It – Hanover Township, Bartlett
On September 11th, we joined the Just for the Health of It event hosted by Hanover Township in Bartlett. This marked our third year at this popular fair, which attracts hundreds of local seniors each year. The turnout was incredible, and we had a hard time keeping up with all the visitors who came to our table. It was wonderful to meet so many kind and curious attendees and share information about how Assisting Hands can support them or their loved ones with personalized home care services.
Senior Fair Sponsored by Senator DeWitt – St. Charles
Just a few days later, on September 16th, we attended another annual event at the Pottawatomie Community Center in St. Charles, sponsored by Senator DeWitt. This was another event we have proudly participated in for the past three years. The fair continues to grow each year, and it was a joy to see so many seniors engaging with vendors, collecting resources, and enjoying the lively atmosphere. Our team loved connecting with attendees and answering questions about our services, from personal care and companionship to specialized support for those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
Looking Ahead to October 2025
With senior fair season underway, Assisting Hands looks forward to participating in two more events in October. These events provide an excellent opportunity to connect with local seniors, caregivers, and families while demonstrating our commitment to quality, professional home care services that improve the lives of those we serve.
At Assisting Hands, we are dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized home care support to seniors throughout our communities, including Batavia, Bartlett, Geneva, and St. Charles, IL. We value the chance to meet new faces, share resources, and strengthen connections with the families and seniors we serve.
