We at Assisting Hands Batavia are thrilled to share our recent participation in a heartwarming event at the Aurora Senior Services! We had the pleasure of sponsoring a lively Bingo game for over 60 seniors, creating an afternoon filled with joy, engagement, and community connection.

What’s the Event All About?

This event was all about bringing together seniors in our community for an afternoon of fun and fellowship. The day began with a delicious pizza lunch, much to the delight of everyone in attendance. Following the meal, we shared an educational presentation about Assisting Hands and the comprehensive senior care services we offer, highlighting how we support our community’s seniors in leading comfortable and fulfilling lives.

Our Experience

The Bingo games were the highlight of the afternoon, with the seniors enthusiastically competing for great prizes, including gift cards for the lucky winners. We kept the energy high by providing refreshing summertime beverages and snacks, ensuring everyone had a fantastic time. We also set up an information table with plenty of giveaways, offering us the chance to meet and chat with many lovely seniors, answer their questions, and learn more about their lives.

Events like this remind us of the vibrant community we’re proud to be a part of. The opportunity to bring fun and joy to the seniors at Aurora Senior Services was truly special.
