Our professionals at Assisting Hands Home Care serve the senior citizens and adults in our community who need home care. During the current coronavirus pandemic, we will take every precaution necessary to ensure the protection of our clients and our caregivers.
We have been monitoring the coronavirus situation very carefully as we understand that our clients are among the most vulnerable to severe symptoms from the virus. The situation involving COVID-19 continues to evolve each day and we will continue to receive updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other local and federal health authorities to act accordingly.
We are protecting our clients and caregivers with the following actions:
- We have trained our caregivers to recognize the symptoms of coronavirus.
- Any symptoms identified in our clients will be reported to our office.
- Once symptoms are identified, we put infection control procedures in place so the client and their caregiver know what to do next.
- The POA or responsible party for the client is notified of the symptoms.
