Assisting Hands Home Care Opens in Boca Raton, Florida

BOCA RATON, Florida (December 15, 2014) — In-home care provider Assisting Hands Home Care has opened a new location in Palm Beach County, Florida. Ricardo Perez and Roxanne de la Vega, long time residents of South Florida, opened Assisting Hands of Boca Raton and Delray Beach. The new business is located at One Boca Commerce Center, 551 NW 77th St. Suite 205, Boca Raton, Florida, 33487, and will serve residents in Boca Raton, Delray Beach and the surrounding areas.

This new in-home care office offers non-medical companionship, personal care, and skilled nursing services to those with physical and developmental disabilities, adults recovering from surgery or hospitalization, and seniors who need assistance with their daily activities, allowing them to remain living within their own home with dignity and independence.

“We will hire the best home health aides, CNAs and nurses in the industry, and we are not just going to say it, we are going to deliver it,” said Assisting Hands of Boca Raton and Delray Beach’s co-owner and president Ricardo Perez. “We administer competency and personality tests to prospective employees to assure they have the best skills and psychometric attributes to excel in home health care.”

Assisting Hands of Boca Raton and Delray Beach has an MD and two RNs on its team tasked with screening and training applicants and all employees. Business administrator, Jorge Paoli-Bruno, MD has more than 20 years combined experience in the medical field and in administering home health agencies. Director of Nursing Jacqueline Alcalde, RN has more than 20 years of experience in nursing, the last 14 years supervising 60 critical care nurses in the Coral Gables Hospital OR. Alcides Brache, RN will coordinate caregivers’ schedules and train employees before they work with clients.

Perez and de la Vega have been married for 22 years and have three teenagers. Perez has 25 years of experience in banking, finance and service business, the last 10 travelling around the world for MasterCard International. De la Vega has a background in advertising and marketing, as well as spending some years as a stay-at-home mom. When her father became ill, de la Vega cared for him full-time, and it was this experience what made her realize families need a quality and reliable resource to help care for their elderly loved ones.
