BETHESDA, Md. (September 17, 2014) — In-home care provider Assisting Hands Home Care has opened its first location in Montgomery County, Maryland. Steve and Cathy Lorberbaum, longtime residents of Potomac, opened Assisting Hands of Potomac which is located at 4853 Cordell Avenue, Suite PH-10A, in Bethesda, and will serve residents in the Montgomery County area.
Assisting Hands of Potomac offers in-home, personal and companion care services to seniors, those with physical and developmental disabilities, and those recovering from surgery or hospitalization. Assisting Hands of Potomac caregivers provide services to clients in their residence and in assisted and independent living facilities and nursing homes.
As a Certified Senior Advisor, Steve Lorberbaum will offer a total solution to seniors and help them through the entire process of finding the care they need, including navigating through payment options. He realized the demand for caregiving services after managing the care of his own parents.
“Being on the other side of home care, I know first-hand what it takes to provide excellent home care,” said Lorberbaum. “I believe the quality of our caregivers, combined with a focus on customer service, will differentiate us from other home care services in the area.”
Before opening Assisting Hands Potomac, Steve Lorberbaum practiced law for 20 years in a variety of disciplines. He also worked with several start-up businesses on the operations side. Cathy Lorberbaum has been a yoga practitioner and instructor for more than 10 years, and prior to that she held various marketing positions.
