Adam & Linda Skolnik
Inspired by our personal journey, Adam and I decided to open Assisting Hands Home Care in memory of his mom, Naomi, with the vision to improve the experience the elderly, the caregivers, and their families.
After more than 6 years, mom passed in December 2022 at age 93. Our challenges inspired us to improve the home care industry knowing there is a better way to take care of our elderly; keep them in their home with qualified, trained aides. Equally important is building an environment designed to encourage, teach, and support caregivers so our clients receive a respectful and pleasant experience.
We want to give people with a passion to help an avenue to make a positive difference in someone else’s life. Caregivers who work with the elderly, disabled, or offer respite care for families, work diligently to take care of their clients. As experienced local business owners, and caregivers, we offer our employees hands-on training, competitive pay, and flexible schedules to maintain work/life balance.
We strive for all clients, and caregivers, to always be treated with respect, kindness, and dignity.
Besides managing the daily operations of Assisting Hands Home Care, Linda also devotes herself to the community through local club involvement and participating in community services. Her effort and achievements are recognized and reflected in her new role as the President of the Rotary Club of The Villages (Morning Club) for 2024-2025.
